WARWICKSHIRE MASONIC GOLFING DAY BEAU DESERT GOLF CLUB CANNOCK CHASE FRI 21st SEPT 2018

Dear Brethren,


Are there any Brothers who would like a FRIENDLY day out playing a round of golf at Beau Desert Golf Club? This prestigious golf course, has hosted over the last 17 years the prequalifying round for the Open Championship, including top class Amateur tournaments, also proud to announce that in 2021 hosting the ENGLISH LADIES AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP.


The course is in a beautiful setting of the Chase; enjoy the ambience and tranquillity set in 30 square miles of forestry. Beau Desert, at one time was owned by the Marquis of Anglesey, North Wales, in 1890, in 1911 becoming a private Golf Club.


I am prepared to put forward prises on the day and if a few of you would care to donate a prise, to be raffled for or auctioned off; all proceeds would go towards our GRAND CHARITY FUND for 2023. Our Provincial Grand Charity Steward W Bro G Walker, will be taking part, he would be delighted to see you all.

Itinerary:

  • Arrive for 8.45 am - Bacon bap and coffee on arrival

  • Teeing off - 10.00 am is FORMAT

  • Individual Stableford - Full Handicap - Yellow Tees

  • Ladies - Full Handicap - Red Tees

  • Followed by a two course meal

  • Presentation

Total cost for the day: £75


Please Note: We need at least 25 to 30 players to make this deal acceptable to the club and if your wife / partner play golf or a friend they are most welcome to take part.


Dress Code: Smart casual

Note: Jeans are not allowed to be worn on the course or in the club house
