Mark Doubles as Santa

Many of you will know W Bro Mark Holmes, as the cheeky chappie who frequently turns up unexpectedly, always has a laugh with everyone he meets, and as a Standard Bearer was absolutely brilliant. He is now one of our excellent Visiting Officers, and has been keeping in touch with his Lodges regularly since lockdown began.

Mark has now turned his talents to something new – Santa Claus.

Mark’s friend, Claire Roche runs an events business in Coventry (Exquisite Event Design) and had planned to do a Santa Grotto event from the last weekend in November right up until Christmas Eve. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 those plans changed. They are now going to do socially distanced visits to children & deliver presents in & around the Coventry area over the next three weeks on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday evenings. They will be out on 13 separate visits, seeing approximately 130 families and spreading a little Christmas cheer. With Mark as Santa, those families will definitely have a great start to Christmas
