Lodge of Warwick initiate meets a half-century brother
What a splendid evening we all enjoyed at the Lodge of Warwick. A beautifully conducted Initiation ceremony, followed by presentation of a 50 Year Certificate. The Initiation ceremony was very well performed by all concerned, and of particular note was the presentation of the Charge after Initiation which was given in a most impressive way by 14 members of the Lodge!
We were able to welcome Bro Daniel Budden as a member of the Lodge, followed by the presentation of a 50 Year Certificate to W Bro Ken Lees, who has an extensive masonic career, and an equally fascinating personal and business background.
The Worshipful Master, W Bro Adrian Forbes, with his splendid team of Officers, had obviously put a great deal of effort into making sure the ceremony flowed well, and the candidate was well looked after.
The presentation of the Charge was impressive, known as the Circle of Brotherhood, which I believe originates in East Lancashire. It takes nothing away from the Initiate’s Chain, and involves a good number of the members of a Lodge.

Well done to all the Lodge of Warwick members for entertaining the visitors from far and wide, including a number from Shipston on Stour Lodge, and Chipping Camden Lodge (Gloucestershire) and even from as far away as two members from the Grand Orient of Brazil, who will shortly join the Lodge.
