Holte Sesquicentennial Celebration
Holte Lodge No.1246, meeting at Knowle Masonic Centre since 1999, celebrated its 150th Anniversary in style on Friday 11 January 2019 when 19 Brethren were generously supported by the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, 6 Acting Officers and a total of 50 other Visitors.

The Ceremony took the form of a Proclamation. There was a Presentation on the Life and Times in 1869, describing the origins of the Lodge in Aston mid-way in the reign of Queen Victoria and in the Prime Ministerial periods of Disraeli and Gladstone. The Provincial Grand Master also pleasantly surprised the meeting by spontaneously presenting a Grand Lodge Certificate to one of the Lodge Brethren.

Reminiscent of earlier times the Festive Board was a 6 course banquet with sherry, wine and port, the meeting raising in excess of £800 towards the Warwickshire 2023 Festival Appeal.
