Goldeslie Lodge had their cake and ate it

Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W Bro David Stanford was amazed when at the Installation Meeting for Goldieslie Lodge recently a massive birthday cake was produced at the Festive Board.   The incoming Senior Warden, Bro Alex Hall explained that his wife had enquired as to the nature of an Installation Meeting to which he replied “It's the Lodge's birthday”.

He thought no more about it until he was about to leave for the meeting and his wife produced the massive cake to enjoy. With over 50 brethren in attendance we did have our cake.... and we ate it!
