DRIVING A BANGER FROM CORNWALL TO MOROCCO
Updated: Oct 4, 2018

Simon Jordan of Dunsmore Lodge No. 6442 has taken on a mammoth challenge in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Not only does this consist of a journey across Europe, it also includes an additional challenge or two on the way.
In his own words, Simon described the task ahead, "The rally will start on September 30th September leaving St Austell, Cornwall on Sunday lunchtime and finishing in Morocco on Friday 5th October.
"The only snag is that our car has to cost around a measly £500 to be entered in to the Banger Rally category. We will be driving on some of Europe’s finest and most scenic roads coaxing our chosen wreck to the finish point.
"Over £2000 worth of cash prize’s will be awarded to the teams scoring the most points in each of the daily tasks and the overall winner will also receive a suitable trophy!
"We will be doing our best to raise as much money as we can for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance."
