Abbey Lodge supports Zoe's Place

During his Mastership of Abbey Lodge No.432, Roger Wood raised over £2,200 for charities from a variety of events. The money was applied to Zoe’s Place, Dogs for Care and the Provincial Benevolent Fund, with some going to the 2023 Festival.

Pictured below is Roger Wood presenting a cheque to Community Fundraiser of Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry, Jane McGaffney, accompanied by the Lodge Almoner, Mike Buckenham.

Jane was pleased to receive the money for which she thanked Roger and Mike. Zoe's Place Trust is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care will be provided in a caring, safe, home from home environment known as Zoe's Place Baby Hospices. Jane noted that it cost £25 for each hour of care they provided.
