A musical journey at the Cathedral

Organ recital for the 2023 Festival at Coventry Cathedral

9th December at 6.00pm

An exciting event has been organised for the festival On Monday 9th December an organ recital will take place in Coventry cathedral.It will feature the musical talents of our Provincial Grand Organist, W Bro Peter Summers and W Bro Mike Grillage.

This event is a unique opportunity to support our own talented musicians, the Provincial Grand Master as Festival president and the festival itself, along with Coventry Cathedral.

The program will be in two 35 minute halves with a refreshment break in the middle.

The music has been chosen by W Bro Peter and will be a fascinating journey around both the classical and more modern aspects of organ music. It will also contain the first playing of a new piece especially written for the event by W Bro Mike.

The event will start at 6.00pm and it will be finished by 8.15 at the latest.

Wine and canapes / cheese will be served during the interval at the rear of the Cathedral.

The cost is £10.00 per person to include refreshments which is payable on the day.
