The Provincial Information Officer for the Province of Warwickshire is Peter Wellings.

Peter has been appointed following the retirement of W Bro Rodney Pitham.

He assisted Rodney in the early days of the Provincial Media Committee, before PIOs were universally introduced by Grand Lodge, and shares the same enthusiasm for effective Masonic communication, education and enjoyment. He is looking forward to continuing Rodney’s splendid work, and particularly for the ongoing support of the many Lodge members who contribute towards the internal and external PR activities of the Province.

Initiated into Fraternity Lodge No 4032 in 1980, he is a founder member of the Warwickshire Provincial Grand Directors of Ceremonies Lodge No 9620 and is a Past Provincial Grand Registrar. Other activities within the Province include involvement with the Royal Arch Representatives scheme, assisting in implementing the recommendations of Supreme Grand Chapter, and the programme of social events in the Mark degree.

As the spokesman on all matters relating to Freemasonry in the Province, he would be pleased to arrange radio and television interviews, to respond to critics and questions from the media.

Within the Province, Peter is available to help Lodges who wish to hold open days, gentlemen's evenings and provide speakers and information.
